New exhibition

Hung Like a Salon

Slack Space presents an exciting exhibition showcasing over 100 framed works produced by young talent on the Foundation Diploma in Art Design and the National Diploma in Art and Design at the Colchester Institute. The exhibition will highlight the wide variety of creative talent from these students.

The artwork on display includes deckchairs which have been beautifully customized by Fashion and Textiles students. The exhibition will run from Wednesday11^th May to Saturday 28^th May.

We are delighted to be hosting three days of intensive training for established artists in Carnival Arts. The Course, which is now fully subscribed, was organised by Illuminati in collaboration with Slack Space and Firstsite and led by the renowned Rampage Mas Band.
