7.00 – 11.00 'An evening with Chinwe'

Chinwe Chukwuogo-Roy MBE, an internationally acclaimed artist, who received worldwide recognition for painting the official portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for her Golden Jubilee, speaks with Lawrence Walker.

The evening will also feature Dare Demuren reading from his new book 'The King Maker' and spoken words, singing and open mic from the Eclectric Society, University of Essex

This is a Black History Month event and is also a private view event for the Black History Month art exhibition

Dancable and dark. The Drug Company will consider analgesia, indigestion, narcosis, loneliness, dependence, mental breakdown, joy, headaches and heartbreaks amongst other subjects
